The medical marijuana industry is certainly evolving much, and has over the past 15 some odd years in California. One of the largest medical marijuana conventions, Hemocon, is slated for several shows in the Southwest during the remainder of 2011.
A quick look at the Hempcon main website – www.hempcon.com – reveals that this has been an ongoing effort to promote positive medical marijuana awareness throughout many different states where it has been decriminalized for medicinal usages.
A description for the June 10th – 12th show (in San Jose) on their website reminds future attendees that, “Last year's Hempcon events in San Jose were the toast of the Bay Area and this year promises to be nothing less. Exhibitors have started lining up as have the sponsors! Keep checking back at the site regularly to see the ever expanding list of great attractions that will be at this year's Hempcon in San Jose!”
The show and convention is geared specifically towards medical marijuana users and or those who could benefit from using medicinal cannabis. According to their main URL, the show offers a variety of different booths including, “medical marijuana dispensaries, collectives, care givers, evaluation services, legal services, educational institutes, equipment, accessories, and many more.”
